For my BA I worked on cryptozoology, a pseudo science focusing on animals, that are only known through fairytales and unverified eyewhitness accounts. Monsters like Nessie, Bigfoot or Mothman have become well known subjects in pop culture – Books, TV Series and movies alike. In my book project I wanted to look at possible origins for those stories. I really enjoyed working on visual speculations on what those so called ‘cryptids’ would look like if they really existed.
