Hi! I am Jakob, a German Illustrator focused on dark fantasy & sci-fi art. Over the years I developed a range of styles, defined by glowing and vibrant colors, strong contrast and detailed realism that allows me to bring striking sceneries, unique creatures and exciting characters to life.
I studied Illustration in Hamburg and work as a freelance Illustrator, mainly for tabletop and board game publishers, such as Ravensburger and Pegasus Spiele. I also regularly contribute illustrations to Ulisses Spiele’s famous Roleplaying Game ‘The Dark Eye’.
